iProbe Support

The PIEPS iPROBE ONE, an avalanche probe with integrated digital technology issues a hit and proximity reading of every standard beacon transmitter and enables a short-term deactivation of the detected transmitter (for transceivers with iPROBESupport). At a distance of about 2 meters of the probe tip to the avalanche transceiver is the first sound (Piep_Piep_) and the LED flashes. An audible tone (Piiiiiiiiiep) and a permanent light display output from a near 50 cm. Supports the transmitting beacon iPROBE function that sounded transmitting beacon is automatically disabled. By removing the iPROBE-tip from the vicinity of the transmitting beacon (> 50 cm), the deactivated transmitting beacon is activated again.
