Hanwag Banks GTX®

The Banks shoes are designed for travelling, long strolls and easy hikes with a daypack. These models are much lighter than the TREK boots. Most remarkable is their highly flexible sole construction, allowing very smooth walking. However, they are not suitable for off-trail scrambling. The upper combines Cordura® with leather to achieve very high breathability. All in all, TREK LIGHT are incredibly well-fitting and comfortable boots. The Banks GTX is Hanwags bestseller: Lightweight GORE-TEX® walking boots for all but extreme terrains. Special lightweight construction of upper and sole-unit. 100 grams less on your shoes equal 1 kg less in your pack. Additional shock absorption under heel. Footwear with stiff, hence hard, soles in particular require this great cushioning.

Lining: GORE-TEX® Patented ultra-lightweight membrane from micro-porous expanded PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylene), making footwear durably waterproof and breathable. The membrane is waterproof, but permeable to water vapour (sweat).
